Founded in mid 1970’s
TSI Titanium is located in Derry, PA with a primary focus on rolled and forged titanium round bar products. After a long and successful history as a single-facility business, the company was acquired by Platte River Equity in 2011 and then combined with Sierra Alloys (Irwindale, CA) to form PRV Metals Inc. The businesses were then acquired in 2019 by the current ownership group, Tinicum, and subsequently renamed as STS Metals Inc. (consisting of TSI Titanium, Sierra Alloys, Sierra Sheet & Plate and Brown-Pacific).
With over 125,000 square feet of manufacturing footprint
TSI possesses a 1500-ton forging press to serve a multi-functional bar mill with three 12” mill stands and six 10” mill stands. These key assets, combined with industry-leading bar finishing equipment, allows for the capability to forge, roll, condition, heat treat, peel, polish, cut and finish specialty grades of titanium materials to serve a niche within the industry. TSI’s focus on serving the aerospace and medical markets for nearly fifty-years has earned the highest reputation for product quality, integrity, reliability and customer service in the industry.
